Family Visiting

We did a lot of fun stuff when my parents and sister were here visiting.

 Leo and Bridger had a great time at the zoo!

 We filled up the little pools on our deck and the kids had fun splashing around.

7 months old

Lena Beana is 7 months old.  She is growing up too fast!

She likes to put her toes in her mouth. In fact, she likes to put everything in her mouth... cords, toys, kitchen utensils, sticks, anything she can get her hands on.

She often has this very serious look on her face- with her eyebrows raised slightly. It's like she is looking into people's souls, and is trying to figure them out.  She is very intuitive, and aware of other's feelings too. We can't wait to see what wonderful things she will be and do in her life.  

She got her first two teeth this month. The bottom two. They're hard to see, so she still has that big gummy grin. So cute.

Hot Air Balloon Festival

Colorado Springs does an awesome Hot Air Balloon Festival on Labor day weekend. My parents were here visiting for two weeks, and my sister came up for the weekend, so we all went to see the hot air balloons together.

What a gorgeous setting- right next to the lake, with the mountains in the background. Beautiful!

The crowd would cheer as each balloon would skim the water, and sometimes dunk the basket into the water!
